Update 6/09 Toulouse has his vision back! One of his retinas fully reattached & the other is 80%! His BP is down & he is doing well. Brought my cat Toulouse here after being referred to them by my primary vet (Cane Bay, also amazing). Picture is of his left eye bleeding prior to retinal detachment (Saturday 5/16) and after retinal detachment in both eyes causing them to be dilated (Tuesday 5/19). Originally took him to Blue Pearl ER in Summerville on Saturday for the bleeding in the left eye where they failed to diagnose his hypertension leading to full retinal detachment in both eyes. Unfortunately my cat is now blind. My regular vet as always was amazing, got is in same day, diagnosed him immediately & even called Animal Eye Care & got us an appointment with them the same day. Animal eye care saw us immediately upon arrival. Took video of his eyes, showed me what was going on in that video & administered his first dose of amlodipine (for hypertension), sent us home with additional doses and gave us a plan for follow up care. They are hopeful we caught it soon enough that he may regain at least partial vision if we can quickly get control of his blood pressure. It is unfortunate that he is going through this, but I am confident in both the teams at Cane Bay & Animal Eye Care & hoping for the best possible outcome for my little guy.

Took my puppy here for his cherry eye and I am SO glad I did , the staff , all the staff , from the front desk to Dr Rodriguez who preformed his surgery were very kind. They are very affordable as well , for both eyes I was quoted as much as I was for one eye at a general practice vet ! This office definitely cares about its patients & im thankful to have ran across them
