Absolutely disgraceful experience. I rushed my sick cat, Mr. Sox, to this veterinary clinic and arrived about 10 minutes before closing. Before I could even explain why I was there or tell them what was wrong, the receptionist interrupted me and said they were leaving. No concern. No questions. No compassion. When I asked where I could take him, I was told to drive to Greenville, over 20 miles away. That’s all the help I received. People trust veterinary clinics to care about animals, especially when they’re sick. I understand businesses have closing hours, but it was shocking that no one would even take a minute to hear why I was there or offer any meaningful assistance before sending me away. If your pet is having an urgent problem near closing time, don’t count on this clinic to help. Based on my experience, I left feeling like my cat’s well-being meant nothing to them. I will never return, and I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone who expects compassion for their fur babies.

Refused to see my cat without revaccination despite current immunity — even though South Carolina law accepts three-year vaccines and published research shows immunity lasts 3–7 years, potentially for life as confirmed by titers. When I asked to run an antibody titer instead of blindly revaccinating, I was told I couldn’t access care at all. The vet never came out to discuss it with me herself; everything was relayed through the front desk. The safety rationale didn’t hold up either: even if my cat were vaccinated on the spot, antibodies wouldn’t develop fast enough to protect anyone during that visit — so the demand wasn’t about exposure risk. Nothing about my cat changed. The relationship was fine for years until I declined unnecessary vaccines and asked for titers. The moment I did, I was refused service. I won’t return, and I’ll be discouraging others. Greed over patient care has no place in a healing profession.
