Nearly a year ago one of our dogs needed extensive emergency surgery. Mid-Carolina Veterinary Hospital (Dr Abby in particular) was so kind to us and our dog, and did a wonderful job repairing our dog. They hadn’t been our regular vet prior to that, but we decided to switch all our dogs (we have 5) over to Mid-Carolina for all their vet needs. The staff is not only compassionate but very professional. I would highly recommend Mid Carolina veterinary services.

They are the best! Super thankful to have a local vet option and not have to drive far. They are super busy and still squeeze us in and are always so nice and helpful. Definitely a positive for the pets of our community. All my friends and family bring their animals there too and have nothing but positives to say. I wouldn’t want to take my shepherds anywhere else.

We have taken our dog, Baby, here since the first emergency we had with her shortly after moving to Newberry. They are very good about working your fur baby into their schedule quickly, especially in an emergency. The staff are so caring and loving to the animals, and Baby LOVES the attention she gets from the staff.

Absolutely wonderful local veterinarian office. They squeezed me in when my dog got her arm caught on some barbed wire and wore an inch or so of her skin right at her elbow. I wasn't able to keep it closed and it was too close to the elbow to bandage. They saw her same day, gave me several options for care, and even took my suggestion on just being able to staple the wound closed as the course of action. They charged me a decently fair fee, and gave me some antibiotics for her to take for a week as well. They were very friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout my interactions with all of the staff. I could tell that they really care about the pets in their care. They also said to call them or text them photos if I had any concerns, and called me 3 days later to follow up and check in on her condition. I will definitely be going back to them as a preferred care provider. 💜
