PLEASE READ- as short as possible to fit We took our baby to the doctors and they thought it was pneumonia . However she did not respond which lead us back to be back to the vets shortly after. When we went back to the vets, we were sent to the ER vet to do “an emergency ct scan” that would cost $3500 to see if she had cancer. When we got there They tried to sell us on over night treatments and hospitalizations so that the dog could be well nourished for 24 hours before the ct scan. they wanted $10k to do just that. So I asked them why we needed to stay over night. Their response was that they had no openings and that for a ct scan she would have to stay over night to guarantee the spot. So I said well can’t we just take her home and bring her back when the ct is available? They said no. I asked what the bill would be if we came in for the next available visit. The doctor tells me it could be deadly because the visit could be to far away and it could be dangerous. She completely ignores my request and continues down the “urgent” road. So I ask when the next visit is if we didn’t do the “urgent” scan. It’s 5 days away. Then I ask what the price is. She says 3,900-4900. I ask what the difference is and they said “well we are only going to run the tests that tell us definite answers” So at this point ask what the outcome would be after the $10k “emergency fee” to see if it’s affordable. They said they have no idea. So I ask what the outcomes could be over all. They say it could be pneumonia, it could be cancer that is untreatable or it could be cancer that is treatable. So I say ok well financially what does that mean for us because we need to budget. They cold heartedly said they have no idea and that it is what it is. I asked them if they do chemo and surgery and the other things that would be required if she had cancer and they said yes. So I asked how they do not know what surgery or chemo costs if they do it in their practice. They said because every instance is different. So I said well what is the cheapest it has costed and what is the most expensive it has costed so we know the range and if it will be worth it. They said they had no idea. I said it’s very unlikely a business doesn’t know the minimum and maximum possible costs are. I asked for Managment to call me because every business knows its costs. The “owner” called me a few hours later. He said that the minimum would be $30 for surgery but “it’s very unlikely that’s what she will need based off of the finding” so I said ok well then since you are speaking probabilities with me you must know what it probably is. He explained to me that the surgery alone if she had cancer could be $90,000. This doesn’t cover if she needs chemo etc as it could be more, well over $100k. The $90k only covers a simple surgery that would last a few hours. I told him he should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of people’s loved ones by charging outrageous numbers that most people don’t make after taxes within 2 years of pay. His response was that I don’t know how much they pay the doctors. I said do you pay them 2k an hour? He said no they’re salary. Which anyone with a brain knows is even worse. They want to charge $90k for a dogs surgery that will take 2-3 people at most 8 hours. That cost alone pays for a large portion of those individuals salaries. I asked since he’s the owner if he does the surgeries. He said no. Then I asked if he’s the only owner. He said no. I said are you the managing partner and you have investors? He said yes. I said you just answered my concerns. You are run by money hungry people where you’re not only paying them but you’re paying yourself and then you’re paying the vet. That’s 3 layers of profits between the person actually doing Gods work. He then hung up on me because I was “rude” If you are ok with being ripped off God bless you. We found the same services much cheaper within 30 mins of the encounter. They clearly take advantage of the elderly retired individuals who can spend years worth of salary on one surgery.

This place is fabulous. They were welcoming observant and patient. Our pup was at Hilton Head and drank some salt water and was vomiting and had diarrhea and they got us in quickly and luckily our pups is fine

This was my first time taking my pet to the vet veterinary And I’m very disappointed in the service takes very long and does not giving immediate care to your pet all they care about is money.yes there is some nice people But I don’t recommend find somewhere else where they actually do care about your pet instead of wasting your time and money. I feel it’s not fair how they don’t treat the situation as if your pet was a human They would treat them immediately.

I went here desperately looking for help for my Chloe. (10 yr old German shepherd) and this is where I met the kindest and most understanding staff. From the front desk ladies to the techs and Dr. I live in Hinesville where the vets aren’t helpful and understanding I’m very pleased with coming here. It’s worth the trip 💜

I can’t thank the team here enough. My Tico likes to rough house with bigger dogs and tends to throw his back out. Everyone here is incredible! Huge shout out to Dr Costello for noticing us back numerous times and came to us and suggested a great plan of action for my boy. He is back to his goofy self. Thank you for always suggesting what is necessary🙏❤️
