Dr. McCraw and his team at McCraw Veterinary are our favorite vets ever. They have always worked so hard to get us in quickly for sick visits, are reasonably priced, and saw one of our dogs and correctly diagnosed him with a critical condition that was able to be surgically repaired elsewhere thanks to quick intervention. There is no other practice I’d trust my three greyhounds with.
There are not enough stars to adequately rate Dr. Logan and his incredible team.
As a healthcare provider myself, I know the difference between someone who is simply doing a job and someone who is truly called to care for others. Dr. Logan is the latter.
About a year ago, I took my Doberman to a very well-known integrative holistic veterinary practice in Tega Cay, South Carolina. Over the course of a year, I spent approximately $8,500 on consultations, treatments, supplements, and diagnostics. Despite all of that, my dog continued to get worse.
A friend recommended Dr. Logan. At that point, I had already taken my sweet boy Odin to 26 veterinarians over seven years. Dr. Logan was the 27th vet we saw. I drove two hours to get to him because, honestly, we had nothing left to lose.
Dr Logan took the time to listen, performed a thorough examination, and identified what everyone else had missed. One visit, under $200, and my dog was dramatically better. That moment earned my trust for life. Why?
Because what impressed me most wasn’t just his clinical knowledge, it was who he is as a person. I saw a lot of myself in him. I don’t practice healthcare for the money; I do it because I genuinely care about my patients. That’s exactly what I felt from Dr. Logan. He never makes you feel rushed. He gives each patient the time, attention, compassion, and individualized care they deserve. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and his patients benefit because of it.
Fast forward to this week.
We recently added another member to our family, our 9-month-old Doberman, Nova. Two weeks ago she became ill, and after spending hundreds of dollars at an emergency veterinary hospital, we were told she was fine and sent home.
A week later, she became critically sick. She had severe diarrhea, wouldn’t stop going outside, and as any pet parent would understand, I was terrified. Watching your puppy deteriorate is one of the most helpless feelings imaginable.
I immediately called Dr. Logan’s office. Without hesitation, the wonderful ladies at the front desk simply said, “Just come in. We’ll figure it out.”
That was all I needed to hear.
I closed for the day, I loaded both of my Dobermans into the car and drove two hours to see Dr. Logan. Those two hours felt endless with a sick puppy, but the entire drive I kept telling myself, “Once we get to Dr. Logan, he’ll figure it out.”
And he did.
He cared for both of my babies with the same kindness, patience, and thoroughness that made me trust him the first time. He treated them as if they were his own.
Exceptional veterinarians are hard to find. Exceptional human beings are even rarer.
Dr. Logan is both.
I am equally grateful for his entire staff, whose compassion and professionalism are evident from the moment you walk through the door. They make an already stressful situation feel manageable.
I would drive those two hours every single time without hesitation because trust is priceless, and Dr. Logan has earned mine completely.
If you’re looking for a veterinarian who combines outstanding medical knowledge with genuine compassion and integrity, stop looking. You’ve found him.
Thank you, Dr. Logan and your amazing team, for taking such incredible care of my Odin and Nova. Our family is forever grateful. God bless you 🙏
